Investing 102 Seminar

Once you understand the basics of investing and the stock market, you may want to deepen your understanding with more sophisticated products and services. This is an educational and informational seminar on traditional and fundamental techniques on investing and is NOT a seminar on day trading, technical trading, futures or currency.

This seminar is intended for long term investors and will explore:

  1. A deeper understanding of the difference between stocks, bonds, mutual funds and ETFs
  2. Investing for capital appreciation
  3. Investing for income, capital preservation and bond ladders
  4. Avoiding common investing pitfalls

The session will also give you the opportunity to ask questions in a pressure-free and judgment-free zone.

Presenter:

Jason Haviland is the president and founder of J. Bradford Investment Management. His firm is an independent RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) based in Nashua, New Hampshire and they are committed to investment education and operating to the fiduciary standard. Jason is a CFA charter-holder and has been in the financial services industry for 24 years.

Unless otherwise noted, all workshops are located at: 1 Tremont Place – Lowell MA. Our corporate building is located next to the Tsongas Arena and the Lowell Post Office. Drive up to the automated gate, take a ticket, and park in any space available. Proceed to the lobby and a representative will direct you to the workshop room.
